Fairy Land

Avoiding folks at the local bike path, I hiked around a hidden lake almost always deserted and discovered a dirt path. What a great find! Only one other human came into view through a separating stand of trees.

And the sites along this less traveled route fired up my active imagination. As the title implies, fantasy beings came to mind.

A Bridge for Fairy Folk?

I think it's an entertainment mega-plex.

This looks like cliffside dwellings.

An artisan village, perhaps?

Welcome or Warning?
Can’t you just picture tiny winged beings flitting about on village business? ~grin~ Or do you think I instead encountered gnome territory? Either way, isn’t it lucky no ‘residents’ took offense at my encroachment?

  1. "Found a hidden lake..." I do love the way you think!!!!!!

Well, the Bridge is for Faeries. But after that, I think you came to Gnome Territory. For sure, those last rues, are Warning!!!!

I suggest the next time, you stay up-land. In Faerie Country. 'Cause I'd really not want to run into those Gnomes! Who have set out a Warning, like that!!!!!!! Brrrrrrr....

Plus, you say it is "hidden"... You could disappear or be transported, and no one would ever know!!!!!!! -shudddddder-

Please tell me, you will heed a Warning, and stay safe!!!!!!! You don't want me to have to worry, now do you?????????????????

If this was a snail mail letter, Faerie Dust would be enclosed. >,-)))) So make believe you can see it sprinkling and sparkling, out of this missive, in Cyber. :-))))))

Oh and... More please! More! More! More! Pretty please...

    Stay calm and carry on

  2. It was a good idea to take a less trodden path. But, hope it was safe.

  5. Ahh, such a grand imagination. Isn't it a joy to take the path less traveled now and then? The things one comes across! Mom and dad, in their walks of late, have done the same, and have seen and learned things otherwise missed.

    1. Thanks. :) I agree, and how nice your human parents are getting out together to share this simple joy. Stay safe!

  8. You don't know that they didn't. You could have stepped on and broken some relic of extreme importance or disturbed a fairy ancestor. You yet may feel the consequences of your foreign invasion into their secret world. Just kidding around, lol.
