In case the title is
misleading, this post isn’t about state of mind. It’s about food, marketing,
and my ongoing failure to eat healthier (with another nod to my blessed
existence thrown in for good measure).
While I’m trying to cut down carbohydrate consumption, my partner insists on bringing home things like
tortilla chips, pasta, and cereal. Hey, at least I don’t always have to tag
along. That’s a true blessing.
Pulling one package out of a
sack, I wondered who on earth boxes flat snack chips. Then I read the label.
Does This Look Appealing to You? |
The contents were far different than imagined. Oh, I didn't eat any of it by the way, and found the empty box on the counter this morning.
Cereal? Are You Kidding Me? Even Potato Chips are Smaller... |
That would be another thing I have not tried. LOL....I used to be a totally picky eater.....I picked over what was good for me and ate junk food. HAHA....Now that the holidays are over I need to think about getting back in the habit of eating better. Or shall we say in the habit of TRYING to eat better. I need to start on some projects in order to keep me busy so that I don't keep running to the kitchen for something I don't need. I have gained a lb back...it was 4 so I am doing something right I guess!
