It's the same with mine. At least my old one had a camera, but this is a hand-me-down from SO, meaning I won't complain. And I get to borrow the family smart phone for concerts. ~grin~ Be well!
This was the scene at Zaxby's today, before and after I got up from my table... In all fairness, I was alone, and so were others, who were using their smart phones, just passing the time.
Granted, to some, we probably looked silly. And, in all fairness to me, I tried their new hot sauce, "Nuclear Volcano," and I just had to tell the world about it... Okay, I had to tell Laura about it, but you know, Laura can never keep a secret.
Oh, now I want to go there! Too bad they're not in Ohio. And, to be honest, SO and I pass my Kindle back and forth eating out. We like to play Scrabble while dining. ~grin~ Be well!
LOL. But smartphones are cool! (I got mine initially so I could take credit card payments at live craft shows. Now I mostly use it to play Candy Crush, Pyramid Solitaire Saga, and Shuffle Cats.)
HAHA....let me share with you (course you have no choice, I share anyway)!!! I refused to get a cell phone at first. I did not get one till 2006! And only got one then after I was in an accident. I had to borrow the phone of the person I hit to call for help. My car was not going anywhere! Since then I have had several, the first one being a flip phone that I held on to for over 4 yrs. I figured it worked great, why change. Still today, I don't run out and get one once the one I am using is paid for. Anyway, I love my iphone. I do use it when I am out and about and I want to post a pic to facebook. I use it now and a again to look something up on the internet. I text but I use it more for calls. I do not use mine to the extent that it is made for. I don't use the calendar or notes....Now....I will say that (see the can of worms you opened)....people over use their smart phones! I have been out to eat and saw parents on their phone and kids with some type of thingy in their hands playing games. NO TALKING....I hate that. When I am out to dinner, my phone goes on vibrate, although I lay it on the table because my mom is 81 yrs old, I like to have it close. I do not get on it unless there is something on fb or a pic I took that I want to share with whomever I am eating with. I hate hearing someone talking on the phone when sitting at the table! If I do get a call I think I need to take, usually from my son in Calif. I get up to take it, away from the tables. If I am out with a bunch of folks and I take a pic I might post it then on FB but then I put the phone down. I dislike being in the store and getting behind someone on the phone, blocking my way! I understand that you might need to call someone to ask if this product is what they want, step out of the way. AND be all means.....DON'T take it and talk on it when you are in the john, on the john! SERIOUSLY...if you can't wait, take your butt elsewhere...and for Liz A. I think, I feel that smart phones are the down fall in our schools. I don't think they should be allowed in the classroom! There....I am done I think! But...with all that said, I love my smartphone!
I love this! I have a cheap phone for emergencies, doesn't even have a camera.
