| She ate kibble as if nothing happened... |
The three have been doing so well. I hope this is an anomaly. At least Dandelion’s blood didn’t spatter the ceiling as happened years ago. That night she ran high onto a cat tree and swatted at her tormenters with her wounded paw. Ugh… Worse still, our beloved angel Tilly once received a mysterious slash to her neck.
We had no idea at the time, though she acted a bit uncharacteristic. My parents were visiting and the four of us went out for breakfast when my husband decided to leave and check on her. He discovered her downstairs, bleeding.
Aren’t I lucky to have married a man with great instincts and even greater compassion? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all beings who lack communications skills could express themselves?

Those mystery scratches and injuries are quite the puzzle. I hope it gets all healed up with no repeats!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeletePoor Dandelion. I hope no one is bullying her. Your hubby is a keeper. XO
ReplyDeleteWe think the sisters just want to play. ~sigh~ Thank you for the kind words, my dear.
DeleteI thought co-habitating cats swiping was no so serious, more a playful thing. It seems not to be the case.
ReplyDeleteAccidents do happen, unfortunately. And it's possible this happened some other way, but I doubt it. Be well!
DeleteDid you find a wound? It almost looks like soy sauce. My cats have tiffs now and then. They run in cliques and it depends who might be "in a mood". Sometimes "the mood" is related to having a hairball they need to cough up.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to find any damage to her skin. We figured it better to leave her be than try investigating too much. Thank you for the kind words. I can understand how having a hairball would cause some grumpiness. lol Be well, my dear.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words and the endless giggles. :D
DeleteYeah, very curious what happened there. And she's acting as if nothing is wrong? I guess it wasn't that big of a deal? Yikes. Violent cats.
ReplyDeleteJust as with kids, accidents happen. :( Thanks for the kind words.
