A Chuckle for the Day

I’m thankful to have embraced social media at long last. This image shared on Instagram by Nikki Sixx gave me a laugh this morning. Someone commented, “I knew it!”

Did you shop on Black Friday? Or, for that matter, is it a thing in your part of the world as dear Nasreen remarked?

  1. I wish we had black Friday sales in our country! But no such luck!

  2. That was funny :) Yes, I shopped, but we didn't leave until 7 am so when we got there at 7:45, the crowds were gone and amazingly the stuff we wanted was still there.

  3. I think that Black Friday is the way of the world these days. I don't set out to shop on Black Friday HOWEVER I did go out to Lowes, Kroger and PetSmart. Lowes cause of the great buy for my Christmas gift from mom, Kroger to pick up somethings and PetSmart cause Lily likes to eat!

    1. Hahahaha... Yes, kitties like their kibble. Have you tried giving her plain yogurt? Fage brand is a favorite around here and good for their digestive systems, I understand.

    2. I understood that cats really did not need dairy....and that it was really not good for them??? I however give Dakota pumpkin with his food. It is good for the digestive system and being that he inhales his food he would get lots of tummy aches, since adding a tablespoon of pumpkin he don't have those issues anymore. I give Lily a teaspoon full with her food cause I read it was good to help with hairballs. Not sure how it helps but I never find hairballs.....

  4. I loaded up on what cat food was left when this lazy Black Friday shopper got to Petsmart at 10:00 a.m.

  5. Too funny.
No, I don't do Black Friday. I avoided shops. I still remember working a Black Friday (back when I worked retail). I'm tempted to make it a blog post one of these days.

    1. I'd like to read that! I'm with you on preferring to stay in. I desperately need some new clothes, which are notoriously tough to buy online, and keep putting it off.
