Different Perspectives

My friend Scars is extremely observant when it comes to people. That makes sense as he is a protector at heart. When in downtown Columbus he made sure I walked on the side of him away from traffic. And he refused my offer to fetch his car, saving him from the long walk back because he didn’t want me out of his sight.

Meanwhile, when I attended his church a beautiful stained glass window caught my attention. He hadn’t even noticed after attending for a few years (!), so I’m glad to have pointed it out.
I’ll bet it looks fantastic lit up from inside…

Did you know there are stained glass making classes available? Would that interest you?

  1. I don't have a crafty bone in my body. I would never be able to make this beautiful glass.

Have a fabulous day and week. Hugs. ♥

  4. I have heard of stained glass classes. I drove by a gorgeous church in German Village in Columbus a couple times last week (no, two weeks ago, now) when I was there.

  5. The window is beautiful. Making small scale stained glass with lead lighting was very popular here in the 1980s.

  6. That is beautiful. You would love the ones at my church. I knew about blowing glass classes, but not about stained glass- it would interest me. I like to make the fake ones with the little beads you melt in the oven. XO

  8. Those are indeed beautiful windows. I have friends who have taken stained glass classes, but I think I will skip them for now.
