The yuzu tree can also be grown in warmer United States climates. Alas, my region is too cold and the soil not acidic enough. Our Jungle Jim’s International Market might have some available but I won’t count on either availability or affordability.

Do you know that Ohio growers can produce much more than apples? Should I attempt some type of citrus?
They look a little creepy. I guess I'm just used to a different sort of fruit.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. You should see some of the really wild stuff out there. lol
DeleteI bet they are really good though!

DeleteI have learned that looks can be deceiving, and this includes in food! I do love citrus! Why not give it a try?
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteOoh interesting.
ReplyDeleteBut it's nothing compared to your amazing travels. :)
DeleteThank you Darla!!! I'd never heard of this citrus fruit.
ReplyDeleteYou're most welcome, my dear. Thanks for your interest.
DeleteSouthern part of Ohio are practically 'down South' no?
ReplyDeleteEspecially the southeast. ~nods~ To our ears, we and other locals have a neutral sound but I've been told I sound like I'm from Kentucky. lol
DeleteI've never heard of this citrus fruit. I'd try it though.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Hugs. ♥
I'd share it with you, for sure. Hugs, my dear.
DeleteI don't think I would like those. I think Meyer lemons can grow most places, but need to be a patio plant and taken in for the winter. XO
ReplyDeleteI really should try for lemons. :D Hugs, my dear.
