He and I often quip that Amazon is the devil taking business from local shops. The convenience is hard to deny. Finding a natural mosquito repellent and cordless rechargeable fan, I didn’t hesitate.

| I am sure the cats would despise this spray... |
The lemony eucalyptus smell is strong, less than pleasant, yet has deterred insects. My little fan is amazing, with multiple features. Here’s the link if anyone is interested.
Do you have an Amazon Prime subscription? What about video streaming services?

That is some cool fan club!
ReplyDeleteThat fan looks amazing and at a great price too. I'll ask hubby. He had a big one in the garage that was 20+ years old and it gave up this year.
ReplyDeleteWe have Netflix and Amazon Prime so we have streaming services from both. Love them both.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. Hugs. ♥
Dear Darla, heat exhaustion 😩 😪 😫 is something I understand very well. It is just awful.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you got a good fan at a great price. 👍
I have never ordered anything online.
I always go to the store and look around and pick what I need and purchase it there.
If it is something heavy the store will deliver it to me.
Have had Amazon Prime when it was offered for free, but just don't order enough from them to keep paying for it.
ReplyDeleteI do have an Audible account, and have a good sized audiobook library there.
We use an antenna for our TV, and don't use streaming services.
Definitely keep it away from the cats as eucalyptus is poisonous to them. I do have a Prime subscription and can see some videos as part of that. XO
ReplyDeleteI've avoided anything Amazon, so far, but I have used Ebay a few times, for things that are hard to fine in a normal shop.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't the Prime membership come with the video streaming? My dad's wife has prime, but I don't.
ReplyDeleteCutter used to be gold standard for mosquito repellent, been so long since I heard that brand name. When I go camping I use netting. I wear a sun hat and mosquito net over it, long sleeves and socks over pants and usually do not have trouble. Let us know how that Cutter natural works, if it does the job.
ReplyDeleteDad says amazon.com is a blessing and a curse, depending on what you buy. He and mom have both streaming services, but prefer Netflix overall. Glad the lemon eucalyptus helps fight off the bugs, and the fan seems like a good buy. The VeganFest was okay, with a lot of pricey alternatives to stuff they eat. They were suprised at the pleasant taste of several of the vegan cheeses, but the baked goods they sampled were less than enjoyable. As with organic store produce and such, everything was much more expensive than they'd care for. Have a great weekend, Miss Darla.
ReplyDeleteI have prime streaming but I have found TUBI, free, and I love it. I am on this channel most all the time. Heat, I can't handle it. It sucks me dry. Blood suckers of course love me, but I don't have them like I did in my old home, but then again, I had a creek beside the house. Here, I also have a BAT, prob more than one that seems to be keeping them down. I think the frogs help too.
