Step by Step Gardening

Filling my grow bags (basically heavy cloth containers) is tedious but I found a bit of a shortcut mixing half perlite and half compost. At first I used a small scoop, which took far longer.
Step One

Once the container is topped off with perlite, the next step inspired me to start calling these bags my cauldrons. By the way, my plastic bin is a repurposed trash can.

  6. The only way I can get anything to grow is to cast a spell over it! Alternatively, my lovely brother comes and does everything for me!

  7. Good idea. As for your question on my blog.. you are a no reply blogger so I couldn't reply. But it is a mix of things.. my husband has a good paying job, we used credit card points and hotel rewards etc to receive deals and discounts and I always book things early. There are so many tips and tricks people share online on how to score free hotel nights etc.

  9. I normally do not start mine in the house, they usually start in the ground, I might need to rethink that in this soil. I did learn that you can pluck the dried pods from a Crepe Myrtle and plant them for a new bush. I am excited cause before my move, I plucked some that summer. Going to try that out by starting in the house. WISH ME LUCK! lol.....
