Rise & Shine

For the last few days I have not been on my computer long enough to finish a rather long and involved blog post. Something(s)... ahem... keep distracting me.

I never expected to laugh so much. My husband remarks on this a lot, too, happy to hear it.

The Dactyl sisters often get me out of bed before dawn. Today Tara rummaged inside my aquarium cabinet while Polly started playing with electrical cords Sunday morning. They know what motivates me. I'll have to tell you about Jezebel's latest antics later. In the meantime let me show you the beautiful morning sky.

Here Comes the Sun...

Did you know aquarium stands often have openings in back for equipment? Have you figured out that Tara is too smart for her own good? And that fish food has an expiration date? ~shakes head~ At least these antics are inspiring me to clear out some outdated things.

  1. Cats, unlike dogs will keep you on your toes. They love to CHECK things out and they totally love to play with things they find. I remember Lily's play consisted of playing with TP on the roll and qtips. Misty however, as taken done the lace curtains on one window! She never has messed with the TP or the Qtips. But she will take her pom poms and springs to the bathtub to play with them and when she is done, she takes them out. Pretty smart cause she knows that the toys will not get away with her. Dakota and Lily as you know brought me such entertainment and love while dealing with the loss of mom....they were amazing help.

  2. Kitties are ever so curious and they get into things. We just try to outsmart them. Rarely happens.

Have a fabulous day and week, Darla. Big hug to you and scritches to the kitties. ♥

  12. Oh yikes, playing with electrical cords always causes me worry. I didn't know that about aquariums. The cats are good at keeping us on our toes.

  13. My Tropical Fish are piggish so nothing ever got to an expiration date before being consumed. I miss our Feline Fur Babies, the very last of ours passed last November from what seemed to be a Feline version of COVID. Just found your Blog via another Fav of mine, always good to read new ones. Love that Sky pix.
