Sweet Time at the Beach

Earlier this month I visited my current favorite place on earth, North Carolina’s Outer Banks along the United States’ east coast. Meeting the sunrise with camera in hand is a favorite way to start my day there. Early on I found that another beachgoer didn’t have quite the enjoyment expected. The photo made my sweets addicted partner sad.

  1. Oh my....what a waste of a good donut! HAHA....yep, I think if that was the only one I had with me, tasting it before eating it, I would have been bummed to have dropped it.

    1. For sure! I wonder if he or she left it there out of disgust or to give others a chuckle. It has to have been the most unusual beach find for me.

    1. Just a little extra powder on it, huh? Though it would be gritty. Thanks for the grin. Be well!

    1. Cute reply. I never thought of it that way. At least I'm blogging about the poor thing. ~grin~ Be well!

  5. No one is eating a sandy doughnut. I bet it was a Krispy Kreme. Sand wouldn't stick that bad to a Dunkin Donut.

What part of the Outer Banks? We live two hours from them.

    1. Hahahaha... We stay at the Ramada in Kill Devil Hills and love visiting surrounding towns. Thanks for commenting! I'm so jealous you live that close.

    1. Interestingly, I don't eat doughnuts. But I'm sure someone was bummed. Thanks, Nick!
