Crumpled is my fake band for today. It was going to be Corrupted Angel until yesterday's wind storm ripped at a chunk of our house (pictures below). Crumpled might have a sound similar to the Goo Goo Dolls.
By the way, our flashing beat the roof like a whip before pieces started breaking off - a frightening sight. I ventured out several times to collect pieces before someone got injured by our flying debris.

The roof flashing ripping off looks scary, Darla! You were safe, right?
ReplyDeleteThe Cure - I used to drive my Mom crazy with Friday I am in love. I used to listen to them a lot, years ago. You brought back some fun memories. And yes, I am playing them right now and singing along loudly!
I haven't heard Crumpled - but one thing I know - when I come here, I'd better be signed in to YouTube because I cannot bear to just read a band's name without knowing what they sound like! Also about to check out Corrupted Angel!
Hugs Darla!
Oh, Vidya, I apologize. Corrupted Angel is another fake name that I changed after the storm. I'm silly. ~grin~ Thank you for the kind word! I love that you enjoy(ed) The Cure.
DeleteIs there a band called The Wind I wonder?
ReplyDelete'The Choir', a short story with 2 neglected words
Ooh, I like it! Can hardly wait to read what you've written today. Be well!
DeleteLove The Cure! Must admit, I didn't know what the name meant until I read your post. Friday I'm In Love is a classic. You've made go and search it out to listen to again. Around My Kitchen Table
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! I suppose I should have written about a lesser known group but they are just so fabulous I couldn't resist. Thank you for stopping by!
DeleteI am loving your fake band names.. and this is a great theme!

ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome. Be well!

You're very kind. I hope you are staying safe. It's lovely but cold here in southwest Ohio today.
DeleteI love The Cure. Was there widespread wind damage from the storm? Will you hire out to fix it or DIY?
ReplyDeleteHow cool, Strayer! I think it would be wonderful meeting you in person. We were lucky in the storm but my partner intends to hire the work done because neither of us is comfortable working on ladders. ~grin~ You would probably have such damage already fixed by now with your ingenuity and practical work ethic. Call it frugality if you will, but you inspire me.
DeleteGood luck with the A-Z Challenge. I love the Cure. Visiting from https://musicalalmanac.wordpress.com. Best
ReplyDeleteSame to you. Thank you for stopping by! Be well.
DeleteAh, the Cure! 'The Forest' starts playing my head, just at the thought of them. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thank you for stopping by with a kind word.
