Another Outing

I appreciate this cooler weather even on a cloudy day, so made the decision to visit a Bohemian little town called Yellow Springs. Strayer mentioning Eugene, Oregon's quirkiness sparked my decision. Initially I intended to hike nature trails along the Little Miami River.

By chance I stumbled upon a free EV vehicle charging station downtown. It seemed like an invitation to explore the bustling Sunday streets so I parked my Chevrolet Volt and started walking.
The clerk here spoke of exhaustion due to
hand raising a tiny abandoned kitten...
Her family is attempting to TNR
the mother cat. Who does
this remind me of?

Finding two (two!) comic book/game/sundry stores made my day. I resisted the urge to purchase an Emily Strange sticker book.
Mad Magazine next to Playboy
and Penthouse was funny...

I wandered through several shops but only purchased a can of soda at one and then a chai ginger cookie. That last proved even tastier than expected yet I still brought most home to share.
I did not see the store kitty but he or she is clearly adored;
a carpeted cat tree sits an aisle over to the left...

Are you familiar with Emily Strange? Can you believe this sullen perennial 13-year-old first appeared on skateboards in 1993?
