Happy April first and welcome to my venture in the A to Z Challenge! And now for the letter A...
I first heard of this band upon finding their merchandise in a Hot Topic store. The winged skull looked so cool I bought a shirt. Then a friend’s daughter played me their music upon seeing the garb. Now I own every studio album plus a concert DVD. Great head banging stuff.
As I decided to be silly and make up phony band names, as well, I give you Autoclave Empire for the letter A. I imagine they are a super group made up of members from LA Guns and Velvet Revolver.

I had no idea you were such a rocker. Rock on!

Thank you! And I love your idea for the challenge. I look forward to every read.
DeleteMy husband is a musician. I write. We are old school, as we are "old". Ha...getting there, anyway. But, not done, yet!
ReplyDeleteI am here from A-Z. Nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you! Please don't think yourself old. I'm in middle-aged and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. So I'm determined to think myself younger.
DeleteNever heard of Avenged Sevenfold so I looked them up on YouTube. I'm sure my ears will stop bleeding eventually....!! Seriously, I was head-banging away to This Means War. Great!
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to check them out! I debated adding links to YouTube but am not especially tech smart. ~shakes head~ And I ran out of time, honestly. I absolutely adore the tune you mention, which gets radio play on some of my favorite stations. Be well! I enjoyed your first entries (!) for the challenge. Well done.
DeleteLove their music!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thank you for stopping by and leaving a nice word.
DeleteI like your imaginary band name :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! You're so kind.
DeleteI like your imaginary band name, too! That's really clever!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I must admit that the idea came to me from the "Stuff You Should Know" podcast team. They make me laugh, sometimes by mentioning terms that should be formed into band names. Be well!
DeleteUh oh, I'm not into metal, but will check them out. I started today, but late, on A to Z, because I forgot til just now.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by, my dear! And I do hope this endeavor is fun without breaking into all your great works with animals. Be well!
DeleteAutoclave Empire - LOL!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Avenged Sevenfold. I went and had a look and I like their album artwork and their guitar work.

Oh, I'm so glad! Sorry it took me so long to find your kindly comment. Guess I need to change some blogger settings. ~grin~ Be well, my dear.

That's so good to hear, Sophie! Thank you for the kind word.
DeleteI'd never heard of the band until I read your A article, but that's not surprising because I'm living in Europe. Nice to know that you love the music.

Shalon, Patricia. Thank you for stopping by with a kind word! Best wishes and I hope you're enjoying the challenge.
DeleteGreat band I'd not yet encountered. Great theme.
ReplyDeleteThank you, my dear! I appreciate your time in stopping by with a kind word.
DeleteI only know Avenged Sevenfold by the T-shirts people sport. So, when my father told me the mother of one of the members of the band lived next door to him, I didn't think much of it. Still don't, even when we are both visiting our parents on the same day...
