On Tuesday I decided to cook some rice in our pressure cooker. Terra must have been napping, so Deputy Inspector Polly supervised. lol Thank heaven for sanitizing wet wipes.
Don’t you agree that the moving lights caught her attention? Do you have a supervisor in your kitchen?

Chili Bruce goes after the cursor on my laptop screen, so yes, I believe Polly is watching the dancing dots.
ReplyDeleteManny would live in the kitchen 24/7, but he wants to be on the counters, chew the greenery, and walk around the wet sink.
Having an open floor plan is a mixed blessing. lol
DeleteMisty would be my supervisor as far as hanging around, watching me, but thank goodness she does not tell me what to do and when! lol.... Lights are a big draw for our feline furs for sure. LOL....did she run when the steam was released?
ReplyDeleteThey used to. lol But in the case of rice, we are supposed to let the steam release naturally so it's not an issue.
DeleteDid it make interesting noises? Cats are sure curious creatures.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty quiet. And yes, they are curious. Tilly, bless her soul, lost more than a few of her nine lives before passing away.
DeleteWarmth! I dislike stories beginning with 'pressure cooker'. I am sure there will be a disaster, ending up with someone falling off something as they attempt to clean down a ceiling covered in splatter.
ReplyDeleteHA! Probably the lights but she might be hearing the sizzle or steam too.
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny. I do think it was the lights. Penny is our resident Chef. XO
ReplyDeleteWhy am I not surprised? lol Hugs, my dear.
DeleteThe lights are fascinating, mesmerizing....
