No, I did not take a tumble
if my title misleads. I’m quite well aside from an overzealous workout and this
blasted early heat.
I am not a fan of summer. It’s
too hot and humid. I hate cutting grass; afterward I feel like someone dumped
me in a swamp. So I’m going to recall the joys of autumn and thank heaven we
have air conditioning (the heat pump is being given a professional check-up as I type).

What is your favorite season?
My fav time is FALL! I love the colors, the smell, the crisp feeling in the air. Next would be spring. Then winter. Summer rates last. With the fibro I can't take the heat. I totally feel like I am melting most of the time. Winter is hard with the pain that goes with it but somehow I can handle it (heat in the house) better then I can the heat. Luck is I don't have to do yard work any more other then keep my flowers up. My brother runs by with the riding mower and cuts my yard, takes 10 mins and he only charges me $10! What an awesome deal that is!
ReplyDeleteYour family, as I've noted before, is amazing. And so are you. I wish science could find a way to cure your ailments. ~hugs~ I'm with you on the order here. Be well!
DeleteI like fall, too. Well, the ideal of fall. We actually can have summer heat through October. We've had Thanksgiving dinner al fresco and 80 degree days on Christmas. (Not last year, thank goodness.) Give me a cool day (kind of like today, although yesterday I was in a tank top and shorts).
ReplyDeleteI remember cutting grass on Thanksgiving one year. ~shakes head~ This afternoon we're looking at another huge storm system headed our way. At least it will temporarily cool things down!
DeleteOoh...yes...I am a fan of Autumn. I do not like Summer, either. The heat makes me feel drained. Remember the episode of The Twilight Zone where it is getting hotter and hotter? A woman and her neighbors are trying to survive. That is how Summer makes me feel. *augh*
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, my fellow sci fi fan! And the trick at the end is that they are actually traveling further from the sun and freezing. ~glee~ Or do I have that backward?
DeleteFall is my favorite too! I hate summer, way too hot and humid.
ReplyDeleteAnd I felt in the minority! Interesting. Thank you for weighing in, my dear.

ReplyDeleteMy fav is summer. Lol. I'd rather roast than turn into an iceberg. Just not meant for the cold :) Tilly looks like the guardian of Halloween. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind comment! Somewhere I have pictures of my cats taking turns lying within the embrace of my grim reaper decoration before I hung it up. ~grin~ Enjoy the season!
DeleteI don't like extremes of temperature so love spring and autumn. Today it's absolutely glorious here in Devon in the UK. The sun is shining and the birds are singing.
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope the rest of the week is lovely for you, too! Interestingly, our springs and falls make setting the perfect indoor temperature tricky. ~grin~ Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI like all the seasons, but here in Oregon this last year, we had only summer then a long extended gray dreary wet winter that lasted from September until four days ago. Four days ago, the sun came out and by today, we're supposed to hit 90 although by Wednesday, it's back to rain.
ReplyDeleteWow! I hope you get some decent weather at some point. ~hugs~ Be well!
