Z is for Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars

Of course Ziggy Stardust is really David Bowie, but I believe WNKU has played songs from this era. Anyway, Z is tough as you fellow challengers know. I wish I could have been at the Hammersmith in 1973. ~sigh~ Alas, I was a wee bit young.

For this last day, my artificial entertainers call themselves Zero Sum after an episode of The X-Files. They have a reggae style like the wonderful German band Seeed.

All the real tunes air on member supported WNKU out of the University of Northern Kentucky. The web page features the current playlist and live streaming.

  2. David Bowie RIP. I still can't believe he's gone. But his music lives on in every genre from pop to classical. What an interesting series this has been Darla. I've so enjoyed it. Bless you.

    Z-It's farewell to Amble Bay!

  3. oops....did not think we were doing the Z today. Gotta get one posted. David Bowie, great music. Hard to believe that he is actually gone. HAHA....All I managed to get done yesterday was move the table behind the couch. My body just gave out on me and refused to do anything. Some days my body just will not let me push anymore and I crash.

    1. Thank you for the kind word! I like to think a creative energy like Mr. Bowie's never really dies. He inspires people still, in all walks of life and styles of creativity, I'm positive.
