I have to be honest and say
that “Life Like This” is not a song of which I’m particularly fond. It kind of
drags for my taste. But V is a tough letter and I do appreciate the
musicianship.
For the letter V my pretend performers
are called Victory. Their music hearkens to The Bravery, whose lyrics can be
rife with delicious melancholy.

Oh, but Victory would spell it weird, like Viktorie or something.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like the way you think. ~grin~ Happy Blogging!
DeleteI had heard of Kurt Vile but didn't know any music by them. "Moody" would be my review, at the moment. Love the Bravery song - kind of the story of my life!
ReplyDeleteI think that's a perfect summation, Nick. Thanks for sharing. And now you have me intrigued about your life! Sure you shouldn't write an autobiography? ~grin~ Be well.
DeleteKurt Vile even looks bored in his video! I think I'd enjoy Victory more.
ReplyDeleteThanks!Sorry I presented something so dull. I would rather say nothing than tell the artist directly.
DeleteDarla, I really see and hear many things here that I would not otherwise. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool. Thanks for sharing. And hugs back to you, my dear.
DeleteI thought you were going to go with The Violent Femmes :)
ReplyDeleteThat's me and my silly constriction again. The Violent Femmes don't get airplay on WNKU. ~sigh~ Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteJust wait until X - it's not going to be easy! Happy Blogging!
