The first time I heard “Move”
off the album Saintmotelevision I
nearly jumped out from behind the wheel of my car wanting to dance. It sounds like Saint Motel
has a fabulous fat horn section backing up their catchy lyrics. Oddly, only one
song on each of their releases has that sound I crave.
Today’s faux group performs
and records under the name Surviving Entropy. These three brothers and their sister hail
from Seattle and have a sound similar to Blur.

ReplyDeleteAmble Bay's fabulous shops!
I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. My partner put this and their video for "My Type" on our DVR so we can watch any time I want. ~grin~ Happy Blogging!
DeleteMove is really upbeat and joyous - liked it a lot! Fun video, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nick! I'm so glad you approve. Happy Earth Day!
DeleteMove, Move, Move....makes you want to Move! HAHA...As for my several different talents, that has always been my problem, I want to try everything, and never been able to settle on just a couple! My two biggest are my photography and painting, but even with that I am thinking of getting into stain glass next! This is the reason why I have had to just let things go cause the craftroom was moving out into the hall!
ReplyDeleteYour craftiness and drive inspire me. I'm glad we have connected, my dear.
DeleteMove is a very applicable name! You never cease to amaze! Hugs.
