E is for Eclipse Movement

I am not a huge fan of rap music but the fat horns in Eclipse Movement's “Blind” really hooked me. They don’t have a Wikipedia page, I was sorry to learn, but they are Cincinnati natives.

Today’s made up band is Everready. The battery company’s iconic wind-up rabbit featured on the cover of their first album until said corporation sued. Their sound harkens back to Radio Werewolf, which totally didn’t fit the album cover anyway. ~grin~ Their self titled freshman release ended up featuring the band in zombie makeup.

All the real tunes air on member supported WNKU out of the University of Northern Kentucky. The web page features the current playlist and live streaming.

  1. I can't use the words rap and music in the same sentence (even though I just have!) To me, they are two different things entirely. I love music. Rap is not for me.

    1. Hahaha. You have the greatest way with words. I must confess to enjoying some of the Beastie Boys' tunes. They are pretty funny many times.

  2. HAHA...I love that bunny. There is one that shows now with it just walking around and then it shows the tail, then it shakes. I love it. I really don't do rap but I know a woman that sings it. She has a beautiful voice but I think she waste it on rap. When she sings country it is like another Patsy Cline.

    1. I'm glad this gave you a chuckle. If a song has some melodic singing as well I can handle it better. Happy Blogging!

  6. who doesn't like EverReady? You don't need your morning coffee after you listen to a couple of their songs, I tell you. You just keep on going all day.

  7. Haven't heard either of the songs, Darla. But I am kicked to see the song suggestions -- they're the ones I usually listen to. :)
