Positive Sparks Monday - Musical Inspiration

To quote Annie of McGuffy’sReader, the bright spirited blog where she created Sparks Mondays, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”

Despite his fierce, antisocial seeming stance, Brian Warner (aka Marilyn Manson) actually stands for independence. He inspires me to be myself, not try to fit into some mold, and I knew Brainy Quote would have some good stuff. Thanks to that website, I found this:

May you have a magical Monday.

    1. Oh, that's cool. I don't find a lot of other Marilyn Manson fans in my circles. Be well!

    1. Amen! Some of my favorite goth style music comes from Japan, while I know two young ladies enraptured with Korean pop.

  6. Marilyn Manson is an often underrated individual. His taste in music and aesthetic is twisted and bizarre but his outlook is surprisingly down to earth and I think a lot more people would agree with/like him if they only read his words.

    1. Oh, so true, Robert. Did you know he scored the music for the original "Resident Evil"? Masterful work. Thanks for the great comment.

  7. I love music but I don't think I love it near as much as you do!!!
I have really been enjoying my Christmas music this season. I put it on a station in the car that plays from Thanksgiving Day till right after...

    1. Oh, I do so love it. ~grin~ Wish I could still enjoy Christmas classics. They stick in my head at night and keep me awake if I hear them now. So, while stores play holiday tunes I listen to Manson or Palaye Royale or Black Veil Brides or, well, Garbage (another great band!).

  8. I love music too, but I don't have access to a lot of music, just some old CD's and the radio. There's a local classic rock station I listen to when I'm in the car. Get's me going! I try to remember song lyrics so I can sing when I am down and out, or on a hike and worn out, to inspire myself and take my mind off how tired I am.

    1. Bless you for sacrificing to save the lives of animals in need! I used to sing the Eagles tune 'Seven Bridges Road' while doing my laundry as a kid. ~grin~ Be well!
