The Zen Master

After sharing the difficulty of photographing Jezebel, I took a few images of Tilly for comparison. Once she has a lap presented, this cat is the embodiment of Zen, though she honestly doesn’t care one way or the other about being photographed any time or place.

Maybe Santa Should Bring Her a New Blanket for Christmas!
I think this girl is just happy to be alive. You can see evidence of how unflappable she is because I used a flash in the next image.

Sorry This is So Washed Out - I'm Unskilled with Camera Technique
How would you feel having a camera shoved in your face like this?

  1. Being a photographer myself I have to say, I don't like having my pic made. I would rather be behind it. But...then you have to stop and think that come family get togethers you will not be in those pics for your family to enjoy one day when you are gone!! My weight was a big reason why I hated to be photographed, now I don't mind......that much, so much, maybe a couple of pics....MAYBE! haha..Your fur babe looks like she could really just care less about having her pic made. Like Dakota, I have used him as a model for years, he don't care for it! haha...Lily I think loves to show off.

    1. Thanks. ~grin~ She is a doll baby when not crying (screaming) for food or attention.

  3. My brother works in TV. He takes pictures of everything. At every event, he pulls out the camera and makes all the gathered pose for a picture. The larger the gathering, the larger the group photo.

He's photographed and videoed his family for every event as well. Starting at birth. His children know they don't get to open any presents for birthdays or Christmas before Daddy has the camera out.

And he pulls out the camera other times, too.

My point is that all of his children are comfortable with having a camera shoved in their faces. I suppose it's a desensitization thing. So, you should probably just take pics of the cats all the time. They'll eventually get accustomed to it ;)
