I wasn’t very imaginative with this blog post title. But this is me promoting a friend, author Daniel Coldspring. The first novel of his three book science fiction series “After Terra” is available as a Kindle e-book now for FREE on Amazon.com.
It’s a really exciting time.
Daniel moved to Ireland
with his lovely new bride this past mid summer. I miss write-ins with just the
two of us, but seeing the happy couple in August warmed my heart. His second
book, complete with his autograph, is on my nightstand.
~grin~
My favorite part of his debut
“Year 200” are the characters. There is a lot of depth to each person. The story
is like icing on the cake. You can read my review here.
Did you know today is the tail end of Irish Book Week?
Did you know today is the tail end of Irish Book Week?
Hubby is a fan of science fiction, me not so much. If it's not too far out there I enjoy it, but sometimes I can't wrap my mind around it.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend, my friend. ♥
You sound like me. ~grin~ Be well!
ReplyDeleteNo to all three questions!
ReplyDeleteWith few exceptions (old Star Wars, Star Trek, old Dr. Who, the odd individual title book or movie here and there), I don't like science fiction.
I don't own a Kindle, and never expect to!
I had no idea about Irish Book Week!
I never thought I'd want an e-reader, but I love that I can read in bed without worrying I'll lose my place. Heh...
DeleteLooks like something my hubby would enjoy. He won't read with my Kindle though, he is old fashioned.
ReplyDeleteBummer! It's a good story. Be well, my dear.
DeleteOh....I am the odd ball, I don't like reading on a Kindle, I love the actual book in my hands...HOWEVER I like driving and listening to a book on CD. Most folks don't read actual books anymore but I am considering making a free library to put out by my mailbox and put books in. Take a book, leave a book sort of thing. I noticed them around Calif. The town my son lives in has them all over in neighborhoods....thought it was pretty cool. THanks for your sweet comment on the help at the barn. I am posting and posting on FB in several HIP communities around us but it just takes time. Brenda or her hubby feed every morning and I get them in the evenings. Misfire not wanting to be alone in the barn is funny. I try every night, even in the pouring rain tonight....she will not go in! HAHA....she is a mess. I actually stood in the pouring rain tonight and brushed her while she ate! NOW WHO IS THE NUT?
ReplyDeleteOh, bless you. You're so precious. Thank you for the giggle, too.
Deleteyou are so welcome...I love that I know I make folks laugh!
DeleteWow, free is a good price. And he moved to Ireland? How romantic. I think. I would not know, really. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThey seem to have an epic romance. ~grin~ Thank you for the giggle.
DeleteOne of these days I'm going to get a tablet so I can have the Kindle app. Until then I'm still on the Nook. Looks like an interesting book.
ReplyDeleteIt is. ~nods~ Be well!
DeleteI love my Kindle especially for reading in bed as it's so light. I'm not a huge fan of science fiction as a rule but a good story is a good story whatever the genre and you can't beat this one on price!
ReplyDeleteI hope you give it a chance. And I'm with you on the joy of reading (or playing card games) in bed. Heh... Be well!
DeleteHey Darla...thanks for coming by the blog and checking on me. I am doing okay. Hoping you are doing good.
ReplyDelete~hugs~
DeleteI do like science fiction. And I do have a Kindle, and I do most of my reading on it. This books looks like a good one. Shall surely check it out. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteOh, good! I hope you enjoy, my dear. Happy reading.
