My Little Helper

Starting seeds in our basement has been both relaxing and successful. We already had a warming mat to help them propagate as well as other equipment to aid seedlings. The one thing I do not have is a proper potting bench, and my video proves the point.

Do you think I should offer some of my extra little vegetable plants to friends and neighbors? Would you accept such an offer?

  2. Yes if you have extra veggies. Not if you don't. Our mantra here is waste not, want not. I would accept veggies from you.

Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. Hugs. ♥

  3. The Hubby has jokingly mentioned more than a few times that we just need to spray the cats with Pledge and send them up and around...

  4. If you have spare vegetables, it would be nice to offer them to your favourite neighbours. I would certainly accept them, and I have in the past.

  6. Depends on the neighbor, I would think. If you've got extra, why not?

  7. Such a good helper. I would offer and I would accept. We always offer our extras to friends in town and vice versa. XO

  8. It's wonderful that your seed starting is going so well! Offering the extras is a really nice idea. It's a great way to reduce waste and maybe even inspire some new gardeners in your neighborhood.

  9. It's wonderful to share, for sure. Some, however (like a certain two people I know) would most likely kill the poor things from neglect or something.

  10. Yes, nice to share with your neighbors. I only once started from seeds inside and I felt my flowers were not as strong when I put them out. So, I wait for the coast is clear, 4-16 to plant outside and watch them take off.

  11. That is wonderful. I absolutely would.. I would even more happily accept the fully grown produce.. I am not good at growing things.

    1. It's been a long learning process on growing things. And especially with how much you travel (!), don't feel bad.

  12. I for one would love if someone brought me over a little plant that kept on giving. You're so nice for even thinking about offering that!
