Okay, I suppose a single item doesn’t really constitute a harvest. But this little sugar snap pea tasted delicious. Fingers crossed, I’ll be gathering many more in future.

I find these little blooms pretty but the intricate transformation engulfing the one below astonished me. |
Can you believe I split that tiny nibble with my husband? Do you enjoy eating any pea variety?

DeleteOh wow.. that is great.
ReplyDeleteThank you, my dear.
DeleteSugar snap peas are so good! We recently had our backyard landscaping done to include a bigger garden with some raised beds. I planted two rows of snap peas this year and I can't wait to start harvesting them. There's nothing better than eating them right off the vine. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd planted more. lol I ate one while out this morning. Yum...

Deleteyou know me....odd eater! I don't eat much peas or green beans at all, but I do love a good raw sugar pea. HAHA...You are already producing food and I can't get my wild flowers to pop up any higher than about 4 inches. It will take me forever to learn to regrow according to this soil.
ReplyDeleteSoil chemistry is a challenge to understand. My grow bags have helped a lot.
