I followed the lead of Ellen from FifteenandMeowing to investigate the word colloquy. As Andrew from The High Rise suggested, it’s an antonym for soliloquy. Colloquy means, simply, discourse between two or more people.
Outside the straightforward challenges, unrelated words are counted separately. Each round resets this list and simple words like ‘he’ or ‘she’ or ‘the’ alongside more complicated words all add to this tally.
After discovering this, I challenged myself to reach 30,000 or more Words Found. Each completed level displays the latest figure. Imagine my surprise upon seeing the following…
Isn’t it amazing that I reached this precise number? Should I play the lottery?

No wonder the word looked familiar. I did know soliloquy.

ReplyDeleteGood job! Yes, why not give Powerball a shot. XO
ReplyDeleteHugs, my dear.
DeleteI gave powerball a shot and lost $4. But I hadn't found 30,000 words.

DeleteMy luck, I would play like this and get the exact numbers .....but the lottery I would lose so fast...lol. Hence the reason I never play. Thank you for your very kind words. That was way back in 06 and I always try to laugh things off and never let things get to me like that anymore. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteHugs, my dear.
DeleteThere's nothing wrong with forever learning. Keeps the brain working, dad says. Of course, a while ago, he tried to learn a new word each day, but he struggled with remembering definitions.
ReplyDeleteI think that forgetting definitions is fine. What's important is keeping an active mind, not memorizing obscure words. :D Hugs to you and your wonderful parents, my dear.
Deletehaha.. that is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, my dear.
