| My sloppy insole repairs have not aged well... |
They still serve a purpose as footwear during brief sojourns outside. I want to keep my cheap new Amazon purchase cleaner and intact.

| Socks with Sandals; Classy, eh? Heh... How ridiculous was it for me to think those rubber soles wouldn’t melt? Letting fire burn out of control is worse, though, isn’t it? - |

I'm going to wear thongs today. It's my spa day. It's also cold outside.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and rest of the week. Hugs. ♥
Stay warm!
DeleteThe soles took the sacrifice. They served you well. I like your new ones.

DeleteIt is time for some new shoes. The others served you well.

DeleteI remember as a kid, before school as I would eat my cereal, I would open the coal fired oven door and rest my slippered feet onto the oven tray, and my slippers ended up with grooves across the soles after beginning to melt from the hot tray. Your new sandals look neat.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that precious story and the kind words.
DeleteAm on the lookout for new sandals too; it's hard to find ones that don't look orthopaedic when that's exactly what I need.
ReplyDelete~hugs~
DeleteSandal season is when ever you choose!

ReplyDeletePanic can play tricks on the brain. I'm glad it all worked out and your firefighting father never needed to know.
