Believe it or not, I’m still trying to grow cucumbers for pickling after my garden failure. I brought an unused little greenhouse from downstairs.

As seen above, I also brought a heat box out of retirement. Meant to keep birdbath water from freezing in winter, it never proved useful until now.
Pretty sitting on my car; not so much choking our heat pump... |

PICKLES!
ReplyDeleteMy 2nd favorite food, after popcorn, and before watermelon.
*wink*
Sweet!
DeleteI'm wearing a jacket this morning and loving it. Such a beautiful time of year.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the kitties and a hug to you. ♥
:D
DeleteNice fountain. Good luck with the cukes. I have never seen that kind of plant. XO
ReplyDeleteHugs, my dear.
DeleteBeing on the mosquito menu sure is never fun!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! And I've always been the catch of the day since childhood. lol
DeleteGood luck with your future pickles.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI always just hope the unfamiliar plants aren't poisonous. I have no idea what some of them are or where they came from. Makes me uneasy to think about it. I love pickles.
ReplyDeleteI wish we could send you our pickles. :D They are a local favorite. lol But with wildlife around that can potentially be poisoned, I especially understand your uneasiness. Be well!
DeleteNot the same flower but pretty sure that they might be in the same flower. Really, haha, at this point we have had little to no rain in Sept. so, not got a lot of flowering weeds in the yard! lol....But on the flip side, I don't have to pay the dude to come and cut. As for being off the blood sucking list, I love living in this house for that reason. When I lived (28 yrs) on the creek, it was impossible to get from the front door to the car without getting bit, and that is even if you were running. About three weeks ago I got several bites here at the house, no issue all summer so I think it was a matter of filling up before cool weather! BRATS..
ReplyDeleteI killed two before they made off with my blood. ~evil grin~ The weather has dried out here, as well, but hasn't stopped the weeds. lol
