Marital Bliss

This Concept Cover Better Fits My Latest Story

A relationship between a writer and her characters can be a little like marriage. Well, maybe a lot. After years of ‘hanging out’ with my favorite OC, I just discovered that he has a true addictive personality.

And I’m his enabler. Maybe I’m codependent and that’s why I can neither quit him nor share our stories with the world.

Yesterday I placed him and a lover on a cruise ship with a gambling deck. I bet you can guess what happened.

Have you ever vacationed on a luxury cruise liner?

  1. No, cruises don't interest me! I look at them as nothing more than a floating hotel, so why not just stay in a hotel? I know there are ports of call as well, but they have time restraints, and I like to stay in one place for a vacation.

    1. Interesting. At one time I considered this option as some coworkers swore by their wonderful experiences. Then terrible things started becoming international news, so I couldn't convince SO to try. ~sigh~ Be well!

  2. I've taken a few cruises, but the last one put me off. We bought VIP, but didn't get it. Never again. I hate being herded around like cattle.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, my friend. ♥

  3. Are you torturing him? The author/subject relationship only really works when the author is torturing the subject (and then giving him a really great rest for the ending).

  5. I am guessing they did a lot of gambling. I have been on one cruise on our honeymoon in 1992 and there was a casino in it, but we didn't even bother, we had better things to do ( wink, wink).

  7. Been on two cruises.....loved them. One was a four day and one was seven, given the choice again I would not do longer than a four or five day. Seven was just a bit to much.
