Good times.
I also found something a
litter newer by Black Light Burns, a side band of Wes Borland, guitarist and
backing vocalist of Limp Bizkit. Still, the album “Cruel Melody” came out in
2008. So there's nothing new there, but good nonetheless.
My partner inadvertently
introduced me to BLB while I held our communal smart phone in hand preparing to ask a
question. I heard the words, “I have a need”, which regarded watching a prerecorded video said partner wished to watch. Derailing me, that phrase summoned the Black Light Burns song by the same title. And thus I found some new material (Hurray!). Check it out (NSFW if your
employer is really strict; no strong language or content):
Do you like the movie "Point Break"? If so, which version?

Pretty sure that I have not seen that movie. Right now I have a new copy of Wonder Woman I need to break open and watch it. Wanted to go to the movies to see it but never got it worked so I went and purchased the Blu ray version. A yr ago my son was here from Calif and felt mom needed to get with the TIMES and he went and bought me a blu ray player that I guess I need to hook it up so I can see this movie....haha
ReplyDeleteToo bad hooking up the device wasn't part of his gift. Heh... Enjoy the movie, my dear.
DeleteI loved Point Break. But then I've always had a soft spot for Keanu Reeves :)
ReplyDeleteAnd he just keeps getting better, doesn't he? Thanks for visiting, my dear. I hope all is well.
Delete"Older movies" from the nineties... Man, I feel old.
ReplyDeleteThe other day, I got a hankering to listen to a song from my youth. "Kiss Me" by Tin Tin. Looked it up on YouTube, and there it was.
I saw Point Break in the theater when it was new. It was okay. Haven't seen the newer version. (That was the era where I saw a lot of movies in the theater. So, if you're on a '90s binge, you may get this refrain from me a lot.)
I went to a lot of movies back then, too. Another favorite featuring Keanu was "Bram Stoker's Dracula", which gets a bad rap by some but is a visual treasure in my book. Now I'll have to look up the tune and see if I know it. Thanks for that.
DeleteI'll be interested to hear if you remember it as well. I did see Dracula in the theater, too. Liked it, but I haven't seen it since.
