Excited? Or Neurological Condition?

I’ve noticed in Jezebel an increasing oddity. Usually it happens when she’s looking out a window, so we are assuming she vibrates out of excitement.

Have you ever seen an animal act like this?

  1. I have not ever seen that...is she looking at another animal outside? That is really strange.

    1. I never see anything of special interest outside when she does this. But it's only when she's acting super alert looking out the window.

    1. I think (and hope!) so. She got a positive health checkup a few weeks ago. Sad to say, I didn't think to mention this periodic phenomenon. Thank you for the concern.

  3. I have not seen that. I hope she is just excited at something outside which she probably is if that is the only time you see her do that.

    1. Thank you! That does seem to be the case. Another item worthy of note is that she has gotten out by accident a few times since having become a full-time indoor cat years ago. She always reacts with tremendous fear returning to me. Maybe she has lingering memory of those incidents.

  4. One of my cats does that. I would guess yours is an indoor only cat, like mine. They get over excited by birds in the yard! It goes along with the weird bird-watching chirping. I think they are getting ready to pounce!

    1. Oh, thank you for that information. You guess correctly. I am glad to have found your gardening blog, by the way. Be well!
