How delightful that my Miniature Schnauzer
blogging pal Riley nominated me for the Eight Photos of Happiness blog hop. Thank you! I
urge you to visit Riley’s page for lots of adorable photos and joyful, fun facts lauding canine companionship.
Now, let me list the
guidelines:
Thank your nominator and link their blog, then:

Okay so here I go with my 8 happy pictures. They are a memorial to my cat Luna, who passed away last August. This may seem sad, and we still sorely miss her, but I'm thankful for the happy memories.

Gee thanks, Darla! (laughter) I don't have ten blogger friends who would accept. But I'll take the bait anyhow and do a photos of happiness post, maybe tomorrow. Thanks for thinking of me!
ReplyDeleteI think of you every day, my dear. Your posts never fail to inspire me, even if it's occasionally in anger over some of the stupidity in this world. Your charity spreads a lot of good, toward humans and animals alike.
DeleteAs for this, maybe you could revisit a list from April's A to Z blog challenge for potential nominees? ~grin~ I'm still glad for that experience leading me to your blog.
I can see why you miss her so much, Darla. She seems to have been into everything! Lovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! She was a character, and as devoted to me as a person could imagine. Her final morning of mortality was spent on my lap.
DeleteThanks so much for thinking of me Darla. Like Strayer none of my blogging pals are into photography so I'm at a bit of a loss to think of 10 people to nominate! I post photos every Tuesday so I'll put up my happy ones then.Your pictures are a delight. What happy memories.
ReplyDeleteHow kind of you to say such kind words. Your stories are a blessing to me as well as your photographs. Best wishes!
DeleteLovely pics I think Iv is admiring Luna. We really like her trying to not look scared!
ReplyDeleteYou are very kind. Thank you for the fun tag on this. I hope you are well!
DeleteI was happy to see your pictures of Luna. She looks like she was a fun handful. It reminded me that about this time last year we lost our bunny, Biggie Puff. Our animals will always be with us! Hope you are well Darla. :)
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for your loss. My mother's favorite physical therapist has a beloved pet rabbit. Your baby had a cute name, by the way.
DeleteThank you. When our oldest daughter was in college and missed our pets at home she got the bunny and named him after rappers. lol she was told it was a female. when i dropped "her" off to be spayed the vet called me and said it's a male! he was neutered. I have completed my 8 photos of happiness!
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy to have seen your awesome photos! As for the rabbit, I had a similar experience with a mouse I named Mitzi who turned into a Marvin and became a hit at the grade school science fair. We are blessed with beloved pets, for sure.
DeleteI am learning life as a cat owner and I have to say....she makes me laugh. She makes me just bust right out and laugh hard. I thought dogs were great....I have learned so are cats. Great pics.
ReplyDeleteHow delightful, Pam, and a joy that you reminded me of this post. Thank you.
