My stroll was enjoyable, though. I like finding small sights most others probably pass unnoticed, or even crush by mistake. I make a point of looking up, down, and around instead of just onward and outward.

Do you, as the old saying goes, ever just stop and smell the roses? In my case, I prefer carnations. Regardless, isn’t it a shame that I never see other grocery shoppers sniffing around the floral department on their way to the produce?

Dear Darla, your photos are beautiful! Yes, I often stop and smell the roses. I prefer orchids and lilies, etc. I love to take leisurely walks in nature. I enjoy hearing the birds chirping and singing, watching the squirrels and their antics, looking at the trees, smelling the fresh, crisp air! Nature is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteLove finding little bits of wonder!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good time, it's good to get out and clear the cobwebs!

That is a cool tree. I prefer carnations too. XO
ReplyDeleteSorry you forgot your camp chair. It sounds like you had a nice day out.
ReplyDeleteSo much to see in nature. Thanks for sharing what you saw. It never occurred to me to smell grocery store flowers. I’ll have to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteAh you see what others don't take time to notice.
ReplyDeleteThere can be rather a lot to see in nature if you slow down and look. Just don't trip.
ReplyDeleteYou find such pretty things on walks
ReplyDeleteI am the same.. I am always the caboose when we go on hikes... wandering and exploring things growing on trees and fallen on the ground.
