Well I have to say- this opened up a whole round of searching and finding everything from showing love to itching a scratch to much more concerning things. Let's hope it's not a more serious issue with dear Jezebel.
Thank you for researching! That's very kind of you. And I hope it's nothing, too. By all other signs, she's doing better than before we brought home Terra and Polly. Seeing her more active and actually putting on some lost muscle mass have been heartening.
I read that if cats press their heads against the wall that you really needed to get them to the vet. Rubbing on you, if that is not something she has always done, I would wonder why. However, keeping in mind that with cats, daily life is always changing. I think when I finally have Misty figured out she up and does something totally different. Lily not so much. Misty always rubs on EVERYTHING, the wall, my leg, a box left in the floor, you name it....I think she is just marking everything.
She has an itch? Showing her love. Happy she's with you. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. Scritches to Jezebel. ♥
~hugs~
DeleteAwww..that is so sweet. XO

DeleteNo, that means something. I've had cats do that. I don't remember what it means, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks!

ReplyDeleteIt's called head pressing; do a search.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it's nothing.
Thank you. I have in the past and have to wonder what might be going on. She does it very seldom but I need to talk to a vet. Be well, my dear.
DeleteShe is leaving her scent on you to mark you as hers.
ReplyDeleteWe think she's responding to your pets.
