Privacy from closing that door is an illusion. Of course I could shoo all the cats out and close the bedroom door behind them, but that’s no fun.
Whatcha doin’ in there? |
Can you believe our bathroom door doesn’t have a lock? And since there is no window, what am I to do in case my husband goes Jack Torrance style crazy?

I so remember this routine. I loved it too.
ReplyDeleteYou made me think of The Shining. I loved that movie.
Have a fabulous day, Darla. Big hug to you and scritches to the kitties. ♥
The Shining is a classic. :) Hugs and Merry Christmas, my dear.
DeleteThrow shampoo at him, if he tries to axe that door!
ReplyDeleteSpray him with deodorant (I think they still make spray kind).
Bean him with soap-on-a-rope.
LOVED that!!!

DeleteNope, you're not allowed to go to the bathroom alone.
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteShe is having fun and we do have escape hatches in our bathroom!
ReplyDeleteHaha, that's funny. The Shining's exterior views of the hotel were of Timberline Lodge, up on Mt. Hood. I never lock my bathroom or even close the door. I live alone and the cats have some sick need to be in there with me or they put up a fuss.
ReplyDeleteIt does seem to be a prerogative with kitties. :D
DeleteYour Jack Torrance reference sounds like something dad would blurt. What a silly hiding place Terra has found for her toys! We have one of those doors on our laundry room, but I have no interest in using the space to hide anything. Hope you continue to feel better, especially with Christmas coming so quick. Here's wishing you well, and Happy, safe, warm holly days!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you and yours, sweet Cleo!
DeleteIf Hubs does that you will not have a chance anyway....locked door or not and axe will get him in. HAHA....cats are so much fun. Misty however is not a player, she is so laid back. Not at all like Lily was as a babe and still not Lily now. Her and I still play chase and get you and Misty wants no part of it all.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fascinating how different they can be?
DeleteAnd of course there is a heater vent right beside the toilet...
ReplyDeletelol
DeleteTerra is a cutie. I think you are safe from your hubby going crazy. :) XO

DeleteThe wooden door of one of our bathrooms has sort of expanded due to the change in the weather, and it doesn't close! I don't know why that has happened to only one wooden door in the house. We got a carpenter to set that right, but he has been able to do mend it to only some extend. Since we can't lock the door, we keep a water-filled bucket to keep the door closed!
ReplyDeleteI hope nobody ever trips over it like I would. :D
DeleteNow I'm waiting for a video of your hubby going Jack Torrance
ReplyDeleteI loved this blog...gave me my fist smile of the day!
